Don Shump, President
Don Shump is an Information Systems professional with 38 years of experience as a practitioner, executive and consultant.
The first twenty-one years of his career were spent with Scott Paper Company beginning as a programmer and working his way up to Chief Information Officer, a post that he held for four and a half years. During his tenure at Scott, he managed all aspects of the Information Systems organization including applications development, technology and communications and the information systems functions at Scott’s manufacturing locations worldwide.
Since leaving Scott, Don has been consulting; first with CoreTech Consulting Group where he was Vice President and Director of the Management Services practice and for the past fifteen years with his own firm D.W. Shump Associates. His consulting has focused on the issues faced by Chief Information Officers and senior business executives in identifying opportunities to leverage information technology in their business and achieving real business value in successful implementation.
Don has a BS in Mathematics from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from Temple University.
